If you live in South Florida or visited the area and listen to the radio party at any of their many nightclubs, chances are you have heard the musical production of Miami's native son, Gorilla Tek. As the man behind the production group Drum Majorz, Iconz Music Group, Iconz Films and Landmark Entertainment, Gorilla Tek has laid down tracks for industry heavyweights such as Ludacris, Trick Daddy, Pitbull, Flo Rida, 8Ball & MJG, Field Mob and Uncle Luke! Music has been a big part of Gorilla Tek's life going back to when he was just Tony Castillo, the "African, Hispanic, Indian" from Miami. Born with Honduran roots, Tek knows exactly how to bring the world of drums and tropical feel to his production.

At the beginning of his career, Tony Castillo showed his love of music by bringing out his home speakers and setting them up in front of his house to entertain his neighborhood. He was known for supplying music for most of the neighborhood block parties. He was also a staple at virtually every house party. He was always known for having a very diverse collection of music and was always up to date with his music collection. In this period of time he carried various monikers DJ Doc Def / Tony T / DJ Splash / DJ Fizz After building up his credibility he was soon picked up by Disco Rick to go on tour as his DJ. They were pioneers of the Miami Bass music scene. Soon after mastering scratching and other DJ techniques he moved to taking over production and programming duties. Working directly with the MPC – 60 Drum Machine to give his beat programming the edge it needed. While building a now even bigger name in the Miami scene under the monikers DJ Tony Tone he was behind 3 key albums of the Miami Bass scene under Joy Boy Records.

Already being established as Miami's reference to Hip Hop and Bass music now under the monikers DJ Tek aka Funky Tek joined forces with Luke (2 Live Crew) on what would be a land mark tour that would put Miami on the map. As Tony Castillo grew bigger in his local scene and represented Miami to the fullest he was backed by the powerhouse "The Committee" together forming a strong unity and paving the way for the currently known Gorilla Tek producer extraordinary. With this unity came to light the group ICONZ and there hit "Get crunked up" which laid the foundation for the current music and film company Iconz.

Since 1997 Drum Majorz has achieved high ranking as one of South Florida's top five music production powerhouses delivering quality music services to numerous record companies and artists. The marquee talent and driving force behind Drum Majorz is Tony Castillo a.k.a Gorilla Tek. Noted primarily for his strong work ethic as a team player, Tek is an award winning producer/composer with success dating back to Disco Rick and the Dogs.

Production duo, Top2Bottom Productions is made up of Marques Jackson (Action) and Kerry Augustus (Alias). With Action originally from Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Alias from New Orleans, Louisiana, they have been influenced by multiple styles and genres of music and often draw inspiration from the past. Together they have been able to combine their creative spirits and musical backgrounds to introduce a sound of southern bounce, jazzy melodies, and soulful grooves for today's Hip Hop and R&B scene. They both currently reside in the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area and have been producing together for over 4 years. Through their collaboration they continue to make strides toward having a successful production career.
