Art, as beauty, lies in the eye of the beholder. Yet when music is transformed into art, its beauty resonates everywhere.

With a philosophy that difference is beauty, Chicago producer/songwriter, J Bravo doesn't mind being misunderstood. As co-founder of the production entity Illectronic Monster, his beats transcend contemporary music production and extend creativity.

J Bravo began his music career as an aspiring hip-hop artist. Yet while creating tracks for himself and others, he found the lure of production increasingly appealing. As Bravo built his music catalog, his hunger to challenge production norms amplified. Noticing a decline in the quality of contemporary tracks he wanted to introduce a brand new approach.

Illectronic Monster is Bravo's unique combination of sound and emotion through melody. Embodying a 'monster,' his tracks are comprised of many variant parts, that when mixed and mastered, become seamless pieces of musical art. This philosophy resonates in the Illectronic Monster mascot: an Apple computer screen donning headphones, lamenting over his struggle to be accepted in his unlikeness. As some may dispel the creature, true artists will see the beauty in his creation.

Currently, Bravo is working with hip-hop artist Nick Astro on his EP, "Near Neptune." Astro is the first artist to debut with Illectronic Monster.
