MIL: Let's start off fairly easy, Introduce yourself and tell everybody who you are and where are you from?

J:My name is Joy Criner. I am a 29 year old single mother of 1 and I am from Memphis, Tn. I have been modeling for the past 6 years and basically branding myself for future projects.

MIL: Can you give our readers a quick run down on your Modeling/Video Resume?

J: Mainly I have been involving myself in hair and fashion shows locally, as of recent I have been traveling to Atlanta, Nashville and surrounding areas involving myself with different projects. I have been named one of the Block Dymez of Atlanta, so I'm working!

MIL: Who are some of your role models or people in the industry that you look up to?

J: Only one person sticks out to me and that is Kerry Washington. She is very classy and sexy at the same time!

MIL: What has been your most memorable experience as a model?

J: Anytime you are acknowledged or chosen to do a project that is a accomplishment in itself. Thousands submitted but you were chosen, that says a lot.

MIL: How big of a role has the Internet played in your career?

J: It has promoted me a lot rather than word of mouth. Constantly branding yourself and putting your name out there via internet can boost your career. It is a expansive tool for promotion. It lets you reach out to people that you would have never had the chance to meet.

MIL: If you weren't a Model ,what would you be?

J: I would definitely be in the healthcare profession. I consider my self a caring and sensitive person. Helping out any chance I get makes me happy.

MIL: Outside of modeling what would you like to accomplish?

J: It is always good to advance your education so I will have to say going back to school, so I will have something stable to fall back on.

MIL: We all know that sometimes things don't work out the way we want. What's your plan B?

J: I eventually want to start my online business back up. There is a lot of money to make dealing with internet sales. It reaches millions of people.

MIL: Do you ever get nervous before a Photo Shoot?

J: Not really, I have done a few and every time I get in front of the camera, I let loose and be myself!! I have captured some great images doing that.

MIL: When do you feel your the sexiest?

J: When everything is on point! ( hair, outfit, nails, etc)

MIL: What is your nationality?

J: African-American

J: shrimp

J: Being real and letting your feelings show, rather than just speaking it.

J: Very! I don't know if that is good or not!!
