Mocca: Where are you from?! What was life like growing up there?
A: I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, but grew up in East Flatbush; Brooklyn, N.Y. Life growing up in East Flatbush was fun and exciting to me. There were a lot of entertainment and annual events that I always participated in, such as block parties & Spring Concerts at school. I definitely made a positive name for myself as a young entertainer in my childhood, which helped create a great buzz for me in the area.
Mocca: Are you an only child?! What effect did that have on your creativity?!
A: No, I have 2 younger siblings, Sacha (15) & Tristan (11). Being the older brother has an effect on my choice of song concept, my lyrics and the age range of my targeted audience. I feel like I have the responsibility to set a positive example for them through my work because I know they listen to my music & their aware of everything that goes on around us, whether it be negative or positive.

Mocca: Un, tell me a little bit about where you're from and how it was growing up there.
Un: I'm actually from Haiti and left when I was 9…so I grew up in the streets of Queens. Growing up was a huge adjustment. [I had to] adjust to the language, culture, family values, street values, school values, and friend values, so much, so confusing. That's how I viewed it growing up, of course, it's different now.

Un: Well, my age sucks because it doesn't even define me. But, I am a world famous Aquarian, best sign ever...!!!

Mocca: Tell us what you've been doing lately. I heard your doing a lot of shows in Manassas, Baltimore
SB: I actually have been doing shows…in DC, Manassas. The most recent ones have been in Baltimore. I'm just trying to get my name out, do a lot of East Coast shows. I'm trying to get a tour going. I'm trying to get on the West side a little bit, but that's going to take a little travel, a little money (laughing)
Mocca: What spots have you hit in Baltimore?
SB: I performed at this spot called "Jumping for Joy," the other place I'm actually performing this week, is at "Club One." I haven't really been around Baltimore like that. So I'm performing there with some friends.
