Yung JD Bio

James D.Thompson born and raised in the Maryland area mostly Prince George County. 3 ½ years ago he became Yung JD aka Underrated and his rap career begin. He has the look, the lyrics and sound to make it big. He raps about his life his ups and his down. Yung JD is very rare when he gets into the studio he never write anything on paper he goes in the booth and say what in his head, his heart, his life and his soul. If he could live in a studio he would never sleep he would be in the booth all the time. Yung JD raps from within him and you can tell that by his music. Yes a lot of artists do rap about the same thing but coming from such a young man people his age can relate to him. And the ladies are just going to love the way he look he a pretty boy. He got most his influences from his lifestyle and older rappers in the DC area such as Infa Redz, Rated R and many more. His styles is very different than anybody coming out this area. He is the voice of the youth of the DC area. Yung JD is currently working on his second mix tape "Pray For Me" which will be out sometime in the fall. Yung JD has been featured with some artist in the DC area such as Mr. Nobody with G'd Up and She Wanted A Rider with E-Skillz. Mr. Nobody is featured on a couple sites like Music Is Life Magazine and Coast to Coast Mixtape. He wishes with his rap career to grow build his fan base; getting some more performances under his belt and some day get a record deal. After a rough life Yung JD just wants to do what he loves to do which is rap and support his family. He wants to show young men can go after their dreams no matter how bad your life is or was. Yung JD is signed to Topp Dogg Hill Records one of the biggest and well respected independent labels in the DC area. I hope the world is ready for this man because he got a lot to say and the only way he know how to say what he want is thru his music.

Contrary to popular belief, hip hop is not dead. As Ques' newest hit "RE UP" proclaims, "They Compare me to Michael Phelps doing the backstroke Winning." With the roots of underground hip hop music suffocating under mainstream conquests it's refreshing to find out an artist like Ques found a hole for air. This Bronx native delivers his music with the same lyrical capabilities of any of hip hop's founding fathers, the humor of a class clown, and the knowledge of a street Socrates. His mix of creative talent and wit is reminiscent of a lost time in hip hop music when it was about the conscious message, as much as it was about having fun. Yet, according to Ques, his music is just a mirror into his world. What a view.

Ques' revolutionary roots stem back to his childhood. After the murder of his father, a political dissident, Ques knew it was no longer a dream, but a responsibility to pursue his ultimate love, music. Growing up in the Bronx, New York during the emergence of hip hop was exactly the fuel needed for this young artists' fire. Ques became a local hit, performing throughout the tri-state area in venues such as Pyramid, Bowery Poetry, Santos, and Nuyorican Poet's Café. Soon, he was opening shows for major acts like Fabolous, Jadakiss, and Lloyd Banks.

Ques' style is versatile. Outside of the fact that his bilingual background allows him to rap in English and French, his music has made it into television, radio, and Broadway theatre. You can hear his work on the movie soundtrack for Grandslammed 2010, Reebok commercials, and more recently he has was nominated "Best performance" and "actually won Artist to watch" at the 8th annual underground music awards.

Quesfire has already conquered the number one spot on nearly every internet music site including Ourstage.com, Reverb Nation, Garageband, and SoundClick. His latest album RAP2k10 was released as a flash drive album as well as MP3 format. He currently has an Iphone application which includes photos, videos, and music. He is currently working on a new album that is expected to take things to another level. His new single "Re Up "has been played on Power 105 for 7 straight weeks. Ques is here and isn't planning on slowing down anytime soon.

Alexis Nicole is a native from Richmond, Virginia with unparallel talents as a songstress with unique music arrangements that has a mixture of contemporary R&B influenced by elements of rhythms of Neo-Soul.
