Getting Fresh with R&B singer Sean Fresh

Hailing from Little Rock, AR, Sean Fresh is shaping up to be quite the artist. Musically inspired by performers like Brian McKnight, The Isley Brothers, Boyz II Men, Outkast, Usher and 8Ball and MJG, he's giving listeners a dose of real music with a southern touch. Doing music since 2006, we recently sat down with the singer to find out a little bit more about him and his movement.

What are your goals as an artist?
Right now my goal is to simply to be heard. There are so many stories to be told from every artist, I just want mines to be headr and of course accepted.

What is the main single you are pushing and meaning behind it?
Im pushing a single called "School Me". I wrote this song when I moved into my apartment. I didnt have a bed or really any furniture. All I had was some sheets and a cd player with a CD of instrumentals from my producer. I fell asleep while listening to it over and over and around 4 am in the morning I woke up and started writing. I had the melody and I knew this was going to the song that everyone made love to. A song that allows a man to take the backseat and simple allows his mate to school him.

What projects are you working on and what will they do for your career?

Right now I am working to finish my mixtape called Fresh Radio and my debut album called FreshLove ( I thought about naming it FreshSex but I remembered that I would have to give my momma and em a copy..FreshLove it is)

In a city where it's known more for its stock of sweet onions than music, Dontell "Bank Mr. 912" Hill is hardly your average small town rapper. Committed to being a part of the bigger picture as well as paying his dues to the city that made him, he has his eyes set on taking the industry by storm. Having already opened up for major artist such as Plies, Lil Boosie, Gucci Mane, and Yung Joc, this young MC knows exactly what it takes to make it; and from how he sees it, he's almost half way there.

"To really be in this industry you have to believe in yourself and go that extra mile to make things happen," states Bank. "At the end of the day there's nobody out here just waiting on you to give you a record deal, you have to make them want you. If I have to work as hard or harder then the next man then that's what I'll do."

Born and raised in Vidalia, GA, which is about 3 hours South of Atlanta, Bank is street certified as the official Mr. 912. With the release of his first mixtape "Bank Roll" in 2005, Bank received quite a bit of underground recognition. This recognition led him to collaborate with Three Six Mafia on a track entitled "Feet Off Tha Ground" that they would later go on to purchase from him in 2009. This relationship would continue to grow with songs like "Solo Dolo" featuring Project Pat and Lil Lody and "That's What It Is" featuring Juicy J and Project Pat, both done in 2010.

Determined to make it no matter what life throws at him, Bank is currently working the streets with his new hot single "Crazy," which has already received a number of radio spins in his hometown and surrounding markets. With his DJ Scream hosted mixtape "The Deposit" also expected to do numbers, it shouldn't be long before Bank gets the return he's looking for.
